Immediate Ways for Marketers to Deliver More Value

AuthorPosted by Dateon Wednesday, May 18, 2011 Timeat 6:56 AM Categoriesin Business, Technology

The CMO Council released a report earlier this year that is absolutely fascinating.

One of my favorite charts within the report has to do with what marketers can do now to improve impact and increase value on their marketing and sales support content. Here are the top answers to that question:

Marketing Supply Chain: How Can Marketers Increase Value? ilinkONE Version 8 Can Help!

When I see those answers at the top of the list, I instantly think of one major thing: interlinkONE’s software could help these people out!

Now, if only the CMO Council would let me know which companies had those pain points :-)

Of course, those types of problems exist in companies of all shapes and sizes… even those that were not included in the CMO Council’s survey. If your company happens to feel a bit of pain with one of those items, please feel free to contact the team here at interlinkONE. We’d love to help you out.

With features such as electronic fulfillment, online ordering storefronts, variable data publishing capabilities, release and expiration date logic, and more, our ilinkONE Version 8 software is packed with features that provide solutions to common supply chain problems.

We’d love to get the chance to show you how we can help!

Oh Where, Oh Where Did My Collateral Go?

AuthorPosted by Dateon Sunday, March 13, 2011 Timeat 7:57 AM Categoriesin Business, Marketing, Technology

Our VP of Sales, Karen Sheehey, will be speaking on the topic of “Virtual Warehousing” on March 17th. While reviewing the details of the presentation, I started thinking about the interlinkONE.com blog. Here’s the bottom line: I have not done a good enough job of including posts related to inventory, storefronts, and warehouse management!

One of the biggest reasons for that might be that I take my needs in those areas for granted. I use our own software to publish and access our collateral, both electronic and hardcopy. I use it to find a case study to send to a prospect and I use it to check inventory levels for the printed materials that we have on hand.

When it comes to inventory and the marketing supply chain, many organizations face similar challenges.

One of the biggest ones is in regards to whether sales reps and other employees have access to the materials they need, when they need them. In fact, the following chart is from the CMO Council’s latest report on supply chain effectiveness:

CMO Council: Marketing Supply Chain chartIf you are a print, mail, or fulfillment service provider, a question like the one posed in this chart may create a sales opportunity for you. With the right software, you may be able to solve problems such as:

  • Making it easy for the Marketing department to upload and revise collateral for their organization
  • Enabling sales reps and other employees to preview and order items whenever they need them
  • Providing real-time reporting and statistics so that management can see what’s being ordered and by whom.

Electronic Fulfillment Delivers Customer Care and Revenue

AuthorPosted by Dateon Wednesday, November 3, 2010 Timeat 12:24 PM Categoriesin Business, Technology

I hope that you are having a great day!

As you may already know, I have been pretty busy with my new company – Grow Socially. Feel free to check us out to see how we are helping businesses with their online marketing efforts. But as the CEO of interlinkONE, I still want to share content with you that applies to the many things that interlinkONE might help you with.

I recently had the opportunity to publish an article in Quick Printing magazine. It is titled “Electronic Fulfillment Delivers Customer Care and Revenue“.

We all recognize how the world has changed in regards to how people are consuming information. Printers have had to make changes to their business to account for this communication shift. But along with simply accessing information, people are also more comfortable making purchases on the web than ever before.

In this article, I discuss some of the benefits that printers can experience having the ability to offer online ordering and virtual storefronts for enterprises with distributed sales and marketing departments.

I hope that you enjoy the article. Click here to read it on Quick Printing’s site >>

Tell me when I am popular

One of the main modules within our marketing software solution is “ilinkORDERS“.

Quite simply, that module allows companies to set up online ordering storefronts and portals.  From those sites, people can order merchandise, hardcopy literature, electronic fulfillment items, variable data pieces, marketing campaigns, digital assets and more.

Along with providing for an easy-to-use shopping interface, ilinkORDERS also has features that are designed to help out the company responsible for managing those orders.

Here is one of the reporting charts on the ilinkORDERS Dashboard:

Orders by Month: From interlinkONE's Reporting Dashboards

Orders by Month: From interlinkONE's Reporting Dashboards

This chart is designed to help you see in a matter of seconds what your busiest months are.

From there, you’ll have the opportunity to drill down further – to see the specific ordering activity in each month.

These reports may assist businesses in being better prepared for the future — when do they need additional staff?

It also may help them to see when things are going right? Did the marketing campaign at the end of April help to drive more orders in May?

This is just one example of a report that is available in interlinkONE’s software solution. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
