In the world of marketing, we are always looking for a reason to reach out to our customers and prospects. We try not to annoy them, but we certainly want them to have us in their minds.
Holidays provide one such opportunity to launch marketing efforts.
Here’s an example from our own marketing department:
This past Valentine’s Day, we were looking for a way to show a little love to our customers and prospects. We also wanted to promote the potential uses of QR Codes, and our QReate & Track product.
We created an application based upon landing pages that allowed people to generate a QR Code of love. It allowed people to select a special message and a custom border/wrapper. After that, our system produced a QR Code matching their selections.
We promoted the tool a bit via social media, and ended up with hundreds of people giving our QR Code of love application a try.
