To correspond with events at Graph Expo, interlinkONE will be releasing a new white paper for In-Plant printers titled, “Integrated Marketing—The Path to Success” and providing copies to interested visitors at the booth. The white paper will focus on ways in-plants can grow their business. Company CEO, John Foley, Jr., will be previewing his upcoming book, “Business Transformation: A New Path to Profit for the Printing Industry.” As new channels continue to emerge and grow in popularity and importance, this book contains guidelines, case studies, and best practices to help print service providers develop strategies and plans, and then execute and measure multi-channel campaigns for their clients.
“We are excited to be exhibiting at Graph Expo,” said Mark McIntosh, president of interlinkONE. “We are continually looking for ways to help printers and service providers answer their customers’ demand for enhanced marketing solutions. Our live demonstrations coupled with our informative white paper will showcase and educate on how easy it is to take advantage of this revenue-generating opportunity.”

Integrated Marketing for In-Plant Printers at Graph Expo
Graph Expo is right around the corner. We’ll be at Booth #969 from October 3-6. If you’ll be there, we hope that we have a chance to catch up with you.
If you are an in-plant printer that is planning on attending the show, we have a number of activities planned specifically for you.
On Tuesday, October 5th, from 12pm to 1:30PM, we will be participating in a session that is being hosted by the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) and In-Plant Graphics.
The theme of the session is “Integrated Marketing – What’s Next for In-Plants”.
We will be presenting for 15 minutes during the session. Primarily, one of our in-plant customers will be leading the discussion. Tana Lawson of the Unum Group will present ways that her in-plant has been able to help support their organization’s marketing programs.
The presentation will cover items such as warehouse and inventory management, online ordering storefronts, automated triggers and emails, QR Codes, personalization, and more.
We hope to see you at this session.
Also, throughout the show, we will be distributing copies of a new White Paper. The title is “Integrated Marketing – The Path to Success”. The White Paper is in a question & answer format. As an in-plant, you will find that you may be asking many of the same questions inside your business. This document is packed with answers and solutions that specifically target ways that in-plant operations can grow their business.
If you would like a copy of the White Paper, please visit us at Graph Expo at Booth #969.
VIDEO: Applications for QR Codes & Graph Expo
Graph Expo is going to be here very soon. It’s been a very busy week, and next week will be packed with to-do list items as well. But we took a quick break to film a new video.
In this video, we discuss what surely will be a hot topic at the show… how to use QR Codes:
interlinkONE to Speak at the 2010 NAPL Owners Conference
We are gearing up for a big stretch of marketing activities in the city of Chicago. Prior to the four big days of the 2010 Graph Expo, we will be exhibiting at another conference.
From September 30th to October 2nd, we will be at the 2010 National Association for Printing Leadership’s (NAPL) Owners Conference.
During the conference, our President Mark McIntosh and Vice President of Sales Karen Sheehey will be delivering a joint session on “Transforming Your Business in a Multi-Channel World”. Their presentation will be delivered on Friday, October 1 at 3:30 pm.
Here is an overview of what they will be discussing:
As more communications shift online, print providers are striving to keep up. Key points to be addressed by McIntosh and Sheehey during their educational session include:
- Steps needed to be taken internally to successfully transform the business into a provider of marketing solutions
- Ways that printers can develop and offer turnkey solutions to different verticals resulting in repetitive and reliable business
- How print providers can use QR Codes, Personalized URLs, email efforts, SMS/Text Messaging, web-to-print storefronts, and social media in their portfolio of offerings
- Best practices for printers looking to successfully offer multi-channel marketing solution
“We are very proud to be speaking at the NAPL Owners Conference,” said McIntosh. “Print providers are continuing to look for ways to grow and develop their businesses strategy. By embracing today’s multi-channel marketing solutions, they can position themselves to successfully meet the customer’s evolving demands.”
Icon Change on our Default Shopping Cart Page
We recently made a change to the default “Shopping Cart” page inside of our ilinkONE Version 8 software.
While it may seem like we’ve added a new feature, the truth is that the feature has been there for years. We simply changed the icon/graphic that was used to draw more attention to a function.
Here’s what we did:
During order placement, people have the opportunity to review the items they’ve added to their Shopping Cart (please note: this only applies to our traditional B-to-B online ordering portals. It does not apply to our public online storefronts.)
On the Shopping Cart page, there is a “Remove” column on the left-hand side. That column has been there for a long time. In the past, there was a “minus sign” graphic listed next to each product in the cart. We have replaced that image with a red “X” icon.
As our customer support team will attest to, users of the system are certainly noticing the new graphic more than the old one. We hope that this change benefits your clients as well (or even you personally!), as you place orders through our online ordering portals.
